NATIONAL FILM & TELEVISION SCHOOL - VISUAL EFFECTS & COLOUR MAs
From 2005 until 2021 John created and delivered the Digital Effects MA courses, employing some of the finest industry tutors to help teach the latest techniques using SOA equipment that he sourced by developing invaluable industry collaborations.
Over the 16 years all the courses had an enviable employment record, with 97% of their graduates pursuing careers in film, TV, advertising, creative arts and software development – predominantly at major VFX and Post Production companies in Soho, London.
CREATIVE MEDIA SERVICES, PINEWOOD
CMS approached Modatum in September 2023 to request a one week bespoke VFX course for secondary school pupils. Mondatum designed and delivered the course focussing on on-set VFX and photogrammetry within two weeks of the original request.
UK SCREEN ALLIANCE
In August 2023, the UKSA asked Mondatum to research the availability of VFX education in the UK at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. We provided the latest data and information that would inform the UKSA’s drive to engage employers and academics in a meaningful dialogue about the UK skills shortages.
